UPPERCASE is a British brand established in 2005.  Our vision was to bring back the elegance and luxury of travel from years gone by.  UPPERCASE creates beautiful unique travel cases and bags inspired by vintage luggage designs of yesteryear and uniquely combines this with the materials and technology of travel products of today. With the use of luxury leather and attention to the little details that really count, we aim to make our customers 'feel special' with UPPERCASE leather luggage, where ever they may be !

UPPERCASE heralds a return to luxury and elegance in the world of travel, enhancing the way luggage is bought and used. Designs are inspired by vintage trunk cases of yesteryear, which were adorable but very heavy and cumbersone. Our beautiful, handcrafted pieces evoke the emotion of by-gone days when those with a privileged lifestyle travelled in style, but at the same time provide the convenience and manoeuvrability required by today's travellers.

Our boutique collection is designed to make you feel special, infusing modernity with classic elegance to create a luxurious range of leather luggage. We use the analogy of wearing gold vs sterling silver jewellery, you will always feel more special, glamorous and elegant when wearing gold.  This is how you will feel when using an UPPERCASE compared to a more conventional product!

The Luxury of Leather

UPPERCASE products are made of semi aniline full grain cowhide leather and not pigskin leather or PVC.  Our leathers are sourced from reputable suppliers in Italy and South Korea.  The beautiful natural graining of the cowhide adds to the simplicity of the design lines and enhances the quality of the piece...altogether evoking an era of vintage luggage - the leather trunk case. 

UPPERCASE believes that leather delivers a sense of indulgence and luxury that no other material surpasses. We like it so much that it almost forms our brand itself we want to be known for our leather products. We put all our efforts in selecting suitable leather which delivers performance as well as looks. We are members of the BLC (British Leather Centre) which put our products through rigorous tests to ensure that they will last the length of time as well as focus on ensuring that the design translates into timeless elegance and beauty.

However, do bear in mind that leather is a natural product and over time the appearance will change. The leather used is high quality full grain leather, it is soft and actually 'feels like leather' so an element of care must be taken with it. And because the products are individually hand crafted, no two products will be identical. This only adds to the charm and individuality of your case, and you will grow to love its own uniqueness.
