Shipping & Returns

1. Delivery

1.1 Provided that the products that you have ordered are in stock at the time of your order, we aim to despatch the products to you within 48 hours of receiving your order and the credit clearing (unless next day delivery is specified where we will deliver within 24 hours of credit clearing). It takes an average of three working days for funds or credit to clear. If we are waiting for the products to come into stock, we will send them to you as soon as possible after we receive them. We will send you an email to let you know that we have sent the products to you and will indicate the expected delivery date. 1.2 For security reasons, we will only send the order to the address that is registered for the credit card or debit card that you have used to pay for your order.

1.3 We will send the products to you by Parcelforce. Our delivery charges are as follows:

• deliveries within the UK: £7.00 (or £9.00 for next day delivery);

• deliveries to the Channel Islands and the Republic of Ireland: £13.00;

• deliveries to Western Europe: £20.00;

• deliveries to the rest of the world: charge varies according to delivery
destination. Please contact us for details.


1.4 Parcels delivered by Parcelforce are subject to weight and size limits (size limits vary according to destination). Parcels which are of a size or weight which exceeds Parcelforce’s specified limits are liable to a surcharge on the delivery charge. If your order is large, you are advised to contact us for details of the applicable delivery charge. If your order is large in size it may not be possible to deliver it in one parcel and it may have to be divided into smaller parcels. If we have to divide your order into smaller parcels we reserve the right to adjust any delivery charge payable and will contact you to tell you of the change to the delivery charge before we send the order to you. You may then either cancel your order or confirm your order and the increased delivery charge payable.

1.5 Please allow at least the following times from the day on which we send your order to you for delivery:

• deliveries inside the UK mainland – up to 5 working days;

• deliveries to outside the UK - up to 15 working days.

Please note that the expected delivery date is an estimate only and the delivery date is subject to Parcelforce. We cannot accept liability for any delay in delivery or non-delivery of your order which is caused by Parcelforce. 1.6 For customers who live in the European Union, if you do not receive the products that you have ordered within 30 days of the day after the day on which you submitted your order to us, because the products are not in stock (in which case we will contact you to tell you this) you are entitled to cancel your order and we will give you a full refund of the price and delivery charge that you have paid, unless you agree to allow us extra time to deliver the products to you. Alternatively, if you wish, you can accept our offer of alternative available products of equivalent quality and price. If you decide to cancel your order we will refund you as soon as possible and in any event by not later than 30 days after the day on which you notify us of your cancellation.

1.7 Ownership of, and risk in, the products passes to you when they are delivered to you.

1.8 Parcelforce deliveries will need to be signed for, so you will need to ensure that someone over the age of 18 is available at the delivery address to sign for the products. If no one is available Parcelforce will leave a message at your address to inform you that the products are available with instructions on how to arrange for delivery or collection of the products.

2. Our cancellation and returns policy

2.1 You may change or cancel your order at any time until we send the products that you have ordered to you. If you wish to change or cancel your order please let us know immediately by phone (+44 (0)116 229 5783) or by email (contactus@uppercaseonline.co.uk).

2.2 We offer a 14-day money back guarantee to all of our customers. If you are based in the European Union this guarantee extends your rights under EU distance selling laws to cancel your order within 7 working days from the day after the day on which you receive the products. If, for any reason, you are not happy with all or some of the products or change your mind about them within 14 days of the date on which you received them, you can cancel your order by notifying us by telephone or email. Please see our Returns procedure (insert link) for details of how to return the products to us. You can return the products to us and receive a full refund of the price for each item that you wish to return or, if you prefer, exchange them for products of equivalent price, provided in either case that the products that you wish to return have not been used, altered or damaged in any way by you or a third party and are in their original packaging and have their labels attached. You are responsible for paying the price for returning the products to us. In the case of an exchange you are responsible for paying the cost of delivery of the exchange products to you. We offer a returns collection service at a charge for returns of products from within the UK. Please contact us if you would like details of this service.

We will make the refund of the price and the delivery charge for the original products within 30 days of the date on which you give us notice that you wish to cancel your order. Until you return the products to us you are responsible for taking care of them. If you do not return the products to us we may take steps to recover them from you and to recover our costs of doing so by deducting those costs from the refund of the price.

2.3 Unless the products are faulty or were damaged in transit or are not the products you ordered we will not offer a refund or exchange on any products more than 14 days after the date on which you received them.

2.4 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

2.5 If the products that were sent to you are faulty or were damaged in transit to you, we will try to repair any minor faults, using trained leather specialists to restore or repair the defect free of charge, or else return the products to the manufacturer for repair. If repair is not possible or practicable, we will give you a full refund of the price or, if you wish, a replacement of the products or an exchange for products of equivalent price. You must return the products to us before we will give you a refund, replacement or exchange. We reserve the right to first obtain a third party expert opinion to determine whether the products are faulty or have been damaged in transit.
If the products are not the products that you ordered, we will at your option, either send you the products that you had ordered or exchange the products that you received for other products of equivalent price.

You will be initially responsible for the cost of returning the products to us. For returns from within the UK, you may wish to use our returns collection service which is available at a charge. Please contact us if you wish to use this service. If when we receive the returned products we acknowledge that they are faulty or are not the products that you have ordered, we will reimburse you in full your reasonable costs of returning the goods to us (including the collection charge if you use our returns collection service). For products that are returned from outside the UK, we will only refund the cost of standard airmail postage. If you choose to have a replacement of faulty products or an exchange instead of a refund we will additionally cover the cost of sending the exchange or replacement products to you.

2.6 The time in which it takes a refund to show on your credit card or debit card statement will vary depending on your card issuer.

How to return the products to us

If you wish to return the products to us, you must complete the returns form (specifying your reasons for returning the products), which will be sent to you with your order, and enclose it with the returned products. We cannot accept returns without the completed returns form.

The products are your responsibility until you return them to us. If you are posting the products or sending them by Parcelforce or courier, please make sure that the parcel is securely packaged and correctly addressed and that you obtain proof of posting or despatch from the post office or Parcelforce or the courier. If you do not obtain proof that you have sent the products, we will not be responsible for any refunds, exchanges or replacements if we do not receive the products. You are advised to use an insured method of delivery to return the goods to us.
